Finding your Flickr email address
-
Start by clicking the on your username link on the top right-hand side of the Flickr Home-page.
-
Choose "Uploading photos by email" from the list of options under "Photo Settings" in the lefthand column.
-
You will now have your Flickr email address in front of you, It is probably a good idea to add the address into your address book to speed up the process in the future. To help you with this, there is a link in the left-hand column entitled "add this address to your address book". This will take you to a page from which you can send an email to yourself containing your Flickr email address. You can then add it to your address book more easily.
-
You can also choose to tag all your photos uploaded by email with "byemail" for example.
Emailing the photos to Flickr
-
For the purposes of this tutorial we will assume that you have added your Flickr email address to your address book as "My Flickr".
-
Now compose a new message to "My Flickr", attaching the photo you wish to upload.
-
The subject line of your email will be the photo title, and the body of the email will become the photo description.
Once you've sent the email your photo should appear in your photosteam within five minutes or so.
